Changing Max MTU for ESXi EVE-NG install

Before posting something, READ the changelog, WATCH the videos, howto and provide following:
Your install is: Bare metal, ESXi, what CPU model, RAM, HD, what EVE version you have, output of the uname -a and any other info that might help us faster.

Changing Max MTU for ESXi EVE-NG install

I am uncertain how to do this, I know how to change the MTU for the vswitch0 in Esxi but I am not sure if that will work? (didn't seem to so far)

EVE-NG is connected to vswitch0 but what about the nodes inside EVE-NG?

Basically I want to try simulating MPLS+VPLS inside EVE-NG and need a greater than 1500 MTU size

MTU supported on EVE links is 9000

But node's mtu depends of images....
