Hi guys,

I could really appreciate your help. I'm desperate with deploying a lab for SD-WAN. The only issue I have is with the cEdge. No matter which image I use, the router itself adds the Loopback65528 with the IP 192.168.1.1 and puts the default route "ip nat route vrf 65528 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 global" which cannot be removed nor the Loopback can be shut or removed.

cEdge is supposed to use WAN to L3 switch with the IP 100.0.3.1/24 while the interface on L3 switch is 100.0.3.2/24. The problem is that I don't have the connectivity. I've tried with numerous images and everytime it's the same result.. no connectivity.

I've read that " Cisco IOS XE SD-WAN, there is a loopback 65528 in VRF 65528 by default with an IP address of 192.168.1.1 that is used as the source interface for API calls.". Can someone assis me with this one? I'm totally clueless..

Hi, sorry to hear about the issue with cEdge in SD-WAN deployment. Please double check your NAT configuration and make sure the interfaces are working properly. Use ping and traceroute to check the connectivity between cEdge and L3 switch. Not sure if it will fix it but give it a try. :)
