IOS Switch - GRUB mode

Hi,

From time to time, the switch unexpectedly enters "GRUB" mode. For example, after it's been configured and running for a few days, I come back to continue my lab work and find that it's in GRUB mode. Restarting or power cycling doesn’t resolve the issue—it stays stuck.
The rest of switches are running same version is fine, but randomly that some switches will go to GRUB mode for no reasons.

Can anyone help troubleshoot this?

If it is vIOS, then GRUB mode for switch means only one, this image is dead corrupted.
Get fresh image copy and load in EVE

If it is Nexus, you simply did not configure it at first boot properly.
