I'm having the same issue. I've installed the following nodes just to see if it works:
IOSv-L2
IOSv-L3
NXOSv
ASAv
CSR1000v
and XRv

I try to start all. They appear to come on, but all go off in about 5 seconds. I'm running EVE 2.03-80 on VMWare Workstation on an Intel Xeon E5-2670 2.6GHz Eight Core Processor and 64GB Ram.

I'm sure I'm making a newbie mistake but I can't tell what that mistake is. It took me a while to get the naming convention right so the Node types weren't greyed out.

VT technology is not enabled

Go into cpu setting in vmware VM settings and enable VT !

Im pretty sure I enabled it before because without it VMware wont work.
It can be a wrong license? or you are sure its only setting issue.
Thanks

Totally sure it is BIOS not turned ON Intel VT virtualization.

BTW, VM ware works with disabled VT-X as well.
So go check bios
