Add Node nexus 9000 on EVE-NG 2.0.3-60
Hi
I'm trying to add a nexus 9000 node, following the steps from this URL http://www.eve-ng.net/index.php/documen ... x9k-switch.
The Issue is when I try to add a new node, the template Cisco NX-OSv 9k is disable.
Does anyone know a solution for this? or maybe i missed a step.
Thank you.
Regards.

Hello Guys,
I am having a same problem where after following the EVE-NG article i am not able to see N9K option available from the GUI.
Here is what i did so far:

I got the image from Cisco official downland site and i have confirmed the MD5 hash value just in case, but still the EVE-NG doesn't want to recognize it. If you have any ideas how to fix this problem or someone had similar problems, please let me know how to fix this annoying problem.

Update your EVE to vers 86.
v86 has serious improvements regarding NX9K

Hi Uldis,
I have upgraded my eve-ng lab up to 86 via the following procedure
apt autoremove (answer Y)
apt-get update
apt-get install eve-ng
apt-get dist-upgrade (answer Y)
reboot ( if previous version < V84 )
and just in case I re-apply the N9k again, but still i am not able to see it available from the GUI:

Also I've tried to open the GUI with Opera , Firefox and Edge but same story.
Is there a way how I can test the N9k from CLI to be sure that is working as we can do for IOL images ?

Re: Add Node nexus 9000 on EVE-NG 2.0.3-60
Hi Uldis,
I have downloaded two N9000v images, one is nxosv9k-7.0.3.I5.2 and the other is nxosv-final.7.0.3.I7.2 to check if there will be any differences. They are in both independent folders and the nexus file name is changed to same sataa.qcow2 one.
So do you thing that will be a problem or it should not since they are in different folders?

Re: Add Node nexus 9000 on EVE-NG 2.0.3-60
The problem is that you do not read Howto.
I had answered where is your mistake.
and you have to use 9k image
For any nexus 9K foldernames MUST start with nxosv9k-
nxosv9k-7.0.3.I5.2
and
nxosv9k-7.0.3.I7.2
your namings will not work !!!!
EVE code knows foldername which starts nxosv9k-
but dont know your name (nxosv-), therefore your foldername will not appear in any case in nodes list !!!
FOLDERNAMES are sensitive in EVE
